Last year, when James visited St Louis for his birthday, Richard L invited us over for brunch and Debra made tonnes of delicious food with maple syrup accents. This weekend, Richard and his family is coming over for brunch.

James: Your cooking is not kid friendly
Me: What?!

    Here is my list

  • Drink options: pilot burnout coffee; pimm’s & lemonade
  • Bread two ways: fresh; baked french toast with lots of lemon zest and crumble
  • Vegetable options: red cabbage slaw; cucumber/radish in yogurt with onion jam
  • Meat options: pickled shrimp; baked bacon
  • Dairy options: aged cheddar; Greek yogurt
  • Egg: poached
  • Fruit: strawberry
  • Other: maple syrup
    Complete permutation

  • Bacon, cheddar & egg on fresh bread
  • Shrimp on red cabbage slaw
  • Cucumber/radish with extra Greek yogurt
  • French toast topped with strawberry & maple syrup
    Super healthy permutation

  • Egg on fresh bread
  • Shrimp on red cabbage slaw
  • Cucumber/radish with extra Greek yogurt

    Sweet permutation

  • Bacon & maple syrup
