Three wonderful days in the Mosel Valley. In addition to biking from winery to winery, we visited castles!

Looked out our hotel window to see the mist evaporating at sunrise and floated down the river at sunset.
But what I really love about it is the absence of suburbia. Each village has a tight cluster of homes. Outside the cluster, there is a tight cluster of industrial buildings (see cute building below). Then nothing but trees.
